Croquette, Anyone??

Tomorrow at Kairos we are playing croquette, starting at 7:30pm. Drop in to Kairos early if you would like to join the game!

Also, don’t be forgetting our memory verse that we are working on. We wouldn’t want to be offering the “sacrifice of fools,” now would we?!?!?

ECC 5:1 Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong.

hmmmm....so most of us who committed to memorizing from Ecclesiastes 5 became "fools" according to the verse we said we would memorize. Yikes! I guess its so easy to say "I will do this" and make our vows...but then not follow through. Good thing for grace...
Lord have mercy upon us!

So, I think we somehow need to schedule a "games" day or night or whatever...we've done it in the past...but get some tournaments or whatever. Croquet, board games, Uno, cards, mix it up and have a variety...maybe even a race around the block (just kiddin)

Congrats to Barry for winning the Croquette game! He game from behind in the second half, slipped by Jordan, and was off and running for the finish line (stake). With all of us hammering his way to try to drive him into the outfield, Barry was still able to avoid the pursuit, slip through the wickets, and NAIL THE STAKE! (You have to watch those Canadians!)
